I wanted to write and give a big thank you to Mark and Randy in Service. I bought my bike, an '03 Heritage from Republic in January '05. I have had chronic problems with the starter going out since I bought the bike. Thank goodness for the extended warranty I bought. It's been in different shops 5 times in 2 1/2 yrs for the same problem. Very frustrating to say the least. The starter went out again just recently. I knew my warranty had already run out but decided I would give Republic a try just to see if there was anything they could do since I bought the bike there and the last service had been done there. The answer was yes! There is some kind of clause going back 4 yrs from the date_ of purchase. Anyway, they got me in that day, replaced the starter, even washed the bike and I was back on the road the next day and it didn't cost me a penny! Needless to say I was extremely pleased. I will definitely be repeating this story to my riding friends and putting in a good word for Republic. They could have totally blown me off but they didn't. I really appreciate that and thought I should write a little note on their behalf. Good customer service is the best asset a company has.

My younger brother is in from Chicago, trailered his brand new Softail Deuce (200 miles) down to ride with big brother. I took him out as a guest on the Chapter ride on Saturday - and when we got to Bellville he noticed a nail in his rear tire (18" Avon mounted on a mag wheel). After lunch we decided to take it back to Republic, where I knew "baby brother" would be taken care of. Got to the dealership around 2:30 and explained our dilemma to Jim in service. At this point we were not sure if we were dealing with a Thumb tack or a roofing nail. We were discussing our options with Jim when Casey overheard the conversation, jumped in knowing my brother wanted an Avon replacement if the tire on the bike was bad, and made us aware that there was a same size Avon in the back, purchased for another customer but did not fit his bike. Once we knew there was a replacement on hand, Casey grabbed his pliers, we said a prayer, and Casey pulled the nail. Unfortunately it was about 2 inches long and needless to say the replacement tire was in order. My brother's bike was taken care of, and Casey got him out the door and back to the house just before the rains came down.

Ed, I wanted to thank you for the assistance and consideration you gave us that day, and Donnie, wanted to make you aware that ANYTIME I have had a problem, Casey has always jumped in and gone the extra mile. He is an extremely knowledgeable service advisor, is truly focused on delivering quality solutions and suggesting alternatives, and most importantly is focused on customer satisfaction. He is a real asset to Republic and your staff.

My little brother was very impressed with the dealership, the attention and the service he received that day. I want to thank you and the Republic staff for always going the extra mile to ensure customers ride out smiling!!!!!

To whom it may concern: I am writing this to thank Casey Honeycutt and Jim Donohue from your service department for the outstanding service I received on my bike when I brought it in for service. I was visiting from Chicago when I noticed I had a nail in my tire. I brought the bike in for a tire change, and received it back while I waited. On Saturday evening my motorcycle broke down in Chappell Hill while returning from the rally in Austin. Your maintenance Supervisor, Raul Gonzalez stopped to give some assistance. He was very courteous and most helpful. I purchased my bike from ******* 1 year ago and they have done all of the service and maintenance on this bike. However, due to Mr. Gonzalez's professionalism you have now gained a new customer. He is truely an asset to your company and should be commended for his dedication. I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to Casey and all your service staff on repairing my 06 Street Glide in a very timely and efficient manner.
I needed my bike for a Saturday funeral and your staff had it in at 1:30pm on Monday 8/14/06 and out on Tuesday around noon. I myself manage a service dept. and know how great it feels when your people are working hard to get things done. My bike was 5 days new for me when it quit. I couldn’t find a dealer much less the place where I bought it, open on Monday except Republic and I needed it back ASAP. That’s exactly what happened. I only wish now that I had given Republic my business. I have made new friends at Republic and will refer all I know for sales and service to you. A no haggles, no problems, no questions asked dealer. Casey even offered that if I needed to have the bike picked up from my residence, it would be what I feel was a VERY reasonable price. I just wanted to drop you a note about the recent oil leak problem I was having with my bike.
I know it was a problem but I cannot say enough about Casey, Jim, and Gunny. They were all very understanding about the problem. At no tome did any of them show impatience. All they wanted was to get my bike fixed. I am in the automotive business and I would like to send some of our people over to your place to see how these three treat customers. I think our people could learn a lot about professionalism and true customer service. Every time I deal with these guys I am glad I brought my bike to Republic.

This letter should have been delivered months ago, but, it is better late than never.
I just want you to know how extremely grateful I am of your service department. I have dealt with other "Dealers" in the past, and the service I received from them is no comparison to what your guys give. Once you have signed the paper work, they don't seem to have anything to do with you, but your guys are just the opposite, they are courteous on the phone, as well as in person. They seem to care about their customers, old and new. I am so glad that I waited and chose your Dealership to purchase my bike. I have put over 22,700 miles since January, so I have been dealing with them a little more than normal. So, in closing, Jim, Randy, and Mike, you guys keep up the great work, and if you treat other customers the way you treat me, you all will be in business for many years to come. I just wanted to let you know how valuable the Riders Edge course was to me.
I truly did not expect to learn as much as I did. Going into the class I did not expect it to be as fun as it was. I thought you were an excellent teacher making the class interesting and exciting. In addition, with the information you teach I have no doubt what so ever that it can help prevent serious accidents, injuries or death. I commend your patience and your ability help everyone become more confident in riding. As I mentioned to you before, I think everyone who rides a motorcycle should take this course. The information taught and the hands on experience with repetition are extremely important. Its seems to be second nature already to turn my head, keep my chin up, keep the bike straight when stopping, and in general just be a safer rider. I really do appreciate all that you taught and look forward to attending the advanced course within the next 6 months.

Again, I just wanted to let you know I thought you did a great job, Robert also. Thank you.
